White House details air traffic spin-off plan as part of infrastructure strategy
Federal Times: The Trump administration unveiled the opening chapter of its much-anticipated infrastructure package with a plan to spin off the nation’s air traffic control operations from the Federal Aviation Administration.
Officials said on June 5 that the plan would be to create a non-profit to manage all air traffic control operations that would be funded through user-based fees and governed by a 13-member board made up of stakeholders.
