The New York Times: Now that Republicans have vowed to shut down consideration of a nominee, Senate Democrats have a new job: keeping the uproar alive while they await Mr. Obama’s pick.
That effort will begin on Wednesday with a special forum organized by Senator Amy Klobuchar, a Minnesota Democrat on the Judiciary Committee. She and other Democrats have invited a panel of legal and constitutional scholars to review the responsibilities of the Senate in considering Supreme Court nominees.
