Government Executive: With a year to go in his administration and a Senate in the habit of delaying nominations, President Obama on Thursday announced he was naming Andrew Mayock, currently a senior adviser at the Office of Management and Budget, to be deputy director for management.
That job had been occupied by Beth Cobert before she moved over to be acting director of the Office of Personnel Management, a post for which she has been nominated. The deputy manager slot has been filled since July by David Mader, controller of the Office of Federal Financial Management.
