With Congress trying to leave Washington by mid-December, time is running short. Now, lawmakers in both parties are trying again to get a big deal done, a Senate Democratic aide said Thursday. Sen. Ron Wyden (D. Ore.) said there was a “growing appetite to find a substantial and balanced deal.”
