Detroit Free Press: WASHINGTON — A Senate subcommittee which has already held two hearings on a widespread General Motors recall for a defect linked to at least 13 deaths will hold a third meeting next week to discuss possible reforms for automakers with federal regulators.
U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., chairs the Senate subcommittee on consumer protection which will hold the hearing next Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
