OPM to allow $500 annual carryover on flexible spending accounts
Federal Times: Federal employees will now be able to carry over up to $500 in their flexible spending accounts from one year to the next, according to an Aug. 27 decision by the Office of Personnel Management.
The ability to carry money from one year to the next will replace the current system, in which employees have a grace period of up to two and a half months to use any remaining money.
