The Washington Post: Federal employees’ satisfaction with senior leaders at their agency hit a five-year low last year, according to a survey of the workforce released Friday.
The Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey, administered annually by the Office of Personnel Management, also found a workforce that overall was more unhappy with life in government in 2013 than in 2012. Employees still believe in their agencies’ missions, feel the work they do is important and said they put in extra effort to get the job done.
