Federal Times: Federal employees will see a 3.8 percent increase in their contributions to their health insurance premiums in 2015, according to the Office of Personnel Management.
Overall premiums will increase on average of 3.2 percent, and the government share will increase by 3.0 percent, according to OPM. Employee contributions are higher because the government sets its contribution as a percentage of the average plan, and higher value plans overall mean a larger employee increase.
