Federal Times: Federal employee workers’ compensation costs tallied $2.9 billion in 2014, down about $100 million from a peak of about $3 billion in 2012, according to preliminary Labor Department data.
While the figure represents a dip in recent years, it is still well above the $2.3 billion total of a decade ago.
