Federal Times: Agencies could see their required reports go down in number if a bill that has now passed both chambers of Congress becomes law.
The House passed the Government Reports Elimination Act (H.R. 4194), that eliminates or modifies unnecessary, outdated, or duplicative reports currently required to be generated by more than a dozen federal agencies. The House originated the measure, the Senate passed it Sept. 16, and it gained final House passage on Nov. 12.
