Former DISA official heads to Commerce
Federal Times: After nearly three years away from government, former Defense Information Systems Agency official Paige Atkins is returning to the public sector.
Atkins is taking over as deputy associate administrator for spectrum planning and policy at the Commerce Department’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration. The new job is likely to build on her previous experience at DISA, where she served as director of strategic planning and information from June 2010 to September 2011, and also previously spent four years at DoD as DISA’s director of Defense Spectrum Organization.
