The Washington Post: Federal agencies will no longer grant excused absences for government employees who happen to be on paid leave when their offices close for severe weather and other emergencies.
In the past, agencies would automatically swap any paid leave on snow days for excused absences. Moving forward, all prescheduled paid leave will remain intact on those dates.
