The Wall Street Journal (online registration required): WASHINGTON–Mary Jo White and Richard Cordray, two White House nominees to fill top financial regulatory posts, will face questioning from senators at a hearing next Tuesday.
The hearing is expected to be closely watched due the drawn-out fight to get Mr. Cordray confirmed as the head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and significant interest in Ms. White, a former star prosecutor who has been nominated to lead the Securities and Exchange Commission.
