The Wall Street Journal (online registration required): WASHINGTON–The House on Tuesday passed a bill to use loose change left by passengers at the security checkpoints to fund military programs at airports, rather than for aviation security.
On a voice vote, the House approved legislation Tuesday requiring the Transportation Security Administration to transfer unclaimed money left at airport screening checkpoints to nonprofits that provide places for Armed Forces members to rest and relax at airports.
