DHS Announces The 2016 Cyber Student Volunteer Initiative
Homeland Security Today: Although current estimates put the number of cybersecurity job openings at nearly one million globally, the number of cybersecurity professionals with the skills necessary to fill those positions is not keeping up with the demand. Consequently, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is working to close the cybersecurity talent gap by implementing programs to provide young people with training and experience in cyber-related fields.
