President Obama to nominate OCR's Rodriguez to DHS post
Government Health IT: WASHINGTON – Immediately before the holidays, President Obama announced his intent to nominate Leon Rodriguez to be Director of United States Citizenship and Immigration Services at the Department of Homeland Security. Rodriguez, who must face a Senate confirmation before he could take over the job, would replace Alejandro N. Mayorkas, who will be moving to fill the deputy secretary position at DHS.
