Federal Signal Completes Phase 1 of Integrated Hawaiian Emergency Warning System as FEMA Urges Hawaii to Prepare for Tropical Storm

Homeland Security Today: The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) continues to monitor remnants of Tropical Storm Dorian in the Caribbean through its Pacific Area office in Honolulu. The disaster response agency continues to monitor the conditions of Tropical Storm Flossie and remains in close coordination with Hawaiian officials who will have the benefit of Federal Signal Alerting & Notification Systems' recent successful completion of phase one in the first-ever, fully integrated network of statewide emergency warning sirens across Hawaii.
