FCC Examines Resiliency of Wireless Networks in Wake of Superstorm Sandy
Homeland Security Today: About 25 percent of cell sites and cable services went down in the ten states that were hit by Superstorm Sandy three months ago, according to data collected by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Disaster Information Reporting System responsible for tracking network outages in emergencies.
