Shreveport Times: Gov. John Bel Edwards said Wednesday tens of thousands of Louisianans remain displaced by Hurricane Laura with as many as 10,000 sheltering in neighboring Texas as two more storm-related deaths were confirmed.
"Progress is being made each day, but we have a long road ahead of us," said Edwards, who is returning Wednesday to Lake Charles, Louisiana's hardest-hit major city. "We know people are out there suffering."
