Government Technology: The City Hall building in York will be closed until further notice following a “physical attack” on the Information Technology infrastructure that is housed there.
According to a news release issued by the city late Wednesday night:
“An individual that was arrested earlier [Wednesday] in another jurisdiction for an unrelated issue appears to have breached the security systems at City Hall causing significant and critical physical property damage to the city’s infrastructure. The suspect was arrested on site by York City Police Department officers and charges will be forthcoming.”
