Governing: California joined eight other states Tuesday in filing a federal lawsuit to block a proposed merger between the third- and fourth-largest wireless phone companies, adding another hurdle to plans for a 1,000-job customer call center in Kingsburg.
The lawsuit against T-Mobile and Sprint was filed in New York by California Attorney General Xavier Becerra and the attorneys general of New York, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Virginia and Wisconsin and the District of Columbia.
