StateScoop: New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy announced Monday that Beth Noveck, a professor at the New York University Tandon School of Engineering, will serve as the state's first-ever chief innovation officer. In a press release, Murphy's office said Noveck will be tasked with modernizing government services and crafting policies that make the state more attractive to the technology industry.
