Data USA Relaunches With More State and Local Visualizations
Route Fifty: Open government data visualization engine Data USA relaunched Monday with new health data sets and analysis and mapping tools.
The site was built by New York City-based professional services firm Deloitte in partnership with the MIT Media Lab and Cambridge, Massachusetts-based web designer Datawheel in 2017 to tell regional stories about issues like the gender wage gap, immigration, race and poverty.
Opioid abuse is easily tracked and charted on the site, and data can be broken down by county.
