Frontier Communications accepts FCC funds to expand broadband to 650,000 rural customers
American City & County: Frontier Communications Corp. now has financial backing from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to provide more than 650,000 underserved and unserved rural farmers, business owners and residents in West Virginia, Wisconsin, Illinois and 25 other states with speedy and affordable broadband service that will better connect those customers to their urban and governmental counterparts.
