Forbes: It’s been nearly a year and a half since Google GOOG +3.73% switched on its 1Gbps internet and TV service in Kansas City. In that time, Google Fiber has been slowly rolling out to residential areas. (This reporter might have it this year, if he’s lucky.) For the most part, though, businesses have been left out of the rollup, except for the small businesses springing up in some residential Kansas City neighborhoods, such as those in the Kansas City Startup Village.
