Houston Chronicle: Texas could use $34 billion to fix or replace aging pipelines, treatment plants and other water infrastructure over the next two decades, according to a federal survey released Tuesday.
The state's needs are second only to California, which topped the list at $44.5 billion. The estimated price tag to meet the nation's needs is $384 billion.
