Computerworld: Microsoft will not include bug fixes for Internet Explorer (IE) in the new cumulative updates slated to upend Windows patching next month.
According to answers given to questions posed by customers, IE patches will not be bundled with the über updates that debut Oct. 11. Instead, they will be delivered separately as individual updates, as they have been for decades.
