OPM needs better payroll data monitoring, says GAO

Federal Times: The Office of Personnel Management needs to improve its internal controls for payroll data to achieve strategic and open data goals, according to a Government Accountability Office.  

Asked to review OPM’s Enterprise Human Resources Integration (EHRI) system, a “data warehouse” for governmentwide HR management and employee evaluation, GAO found several ways in which the availability and reliability of payroll information could be optimized.
