"DOL's authorization of Edge's cloud hosting services using FedRAMP requirements ensures the security of government data and paves the way for other agencies in using secure cloud services," said FedRAMP Director Matt Goodrich. "Other agencies can now leverage this authorization, potentially saving the Federal government hundreds of thousands of dollars by eliminating redundant security authorizations of Edge Hosting's cloud environment."
Edge Hosting's offerings are built off of VMware, EMC, Cisco, F5 and Dell Edge technologies to support fast migration to IaaS and PaaS.
