Federal Times: Government spending on information technology is set to grow by $2.3 billion in 2016 to $86.4 billion — a 2.7 percent increase — under the president's proposed budget released Monday.
Civilian agency IT spending makes up $49.1 billion of the request, with defense spending at $37.3 billion. Civilian IT spending is slated to increase by 2.5 percent, up $1.2 billion over 2015.
