Survey: Feds slow in adopting converged technology, services
Federal Times: Federal IT executives are considerably less bullish than their industry counterparts about how the convergence of technology and services can help them, according to a new survey.
Only roughly one in five federal officials surveyed said they had plans in the next year and beyond to procure monitoring, infrastructure, software, communications and training on a consumption-based “as a service” model. One in four said they planned to procure platform as a service solutions.
