The Wall Street Journal (online registration required): WASHINGTON—Companies that share information with one another about cybersecurity threats aren't violating U.S. antitrust laws, Obama administration officials said Thursday as part of an effort to promote corporate cooperation against hackers.
"We must encourage companies to rely on each other," U.S. Deputy Attorney General James Cole said during a briefing with reporters. "To secure the nation's networks of information and resources, members of the private sector must share information."
