Healthcare IT News: The Department of Defense outlined new timing for its $4.3 billion Cerner electronic health record system modernization project.
The rollout, initially slated for December, is now set to begin in February of 2017 at one facility instead of two as originally planned.
“The timeline identifies Fairchild Air Force Base as the first go-live and we remain in good position for an on-time, enterprise-wide deployment as we continue to work with the DoD and our partners,” Cerner spokesperson Marlene Bentley explained.
