Healthcare Informatics: The Senate Labor, Health and Human Services and Education Appropriations Subcommittee approved a fiscal year 2017 funding bill that gives the National Institutes of Health (NIH) a $2 billion increase, and marks the first bipartisan Senate Labor-HHS bill in seven years.
