What to look for in third wave of open enrollment
Government Health IT: The third open enrollment period on Healthcare.gov and state-based exchanges began Nov. 1 and data from various industry reports suggest that Health and Human Services (HHS) will slightly exceed the 11.4 million members who were enrolled through the Marketplaces in 2015. For many insurance companies using Open Enrollment as an opportunity to connect with their target market (uninsured and existing customers), each must prepare for the possibility that consumers may find better value or plan options elsewhere.
