The New York Times: The use of long-acting, reversible birth control like intrauterine devices and implants has risen sharply among teenagers in the last decade, new federal data show. Researchers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention studied the use of such contraceptives at clinics that receive federal money under the Title X program, which focuses on low-income adults and teenagers. About eight million young women ages 15 to 19 sought birth control at the clinics from 2005 to 2013.
