ONC makes big changes at the top
Healthcare IT News: HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is searching for a new national coordinator for health IT -- and also for a new principal deputy coordinator, as David Muntz leaves the agency just as ONC chief Farzad Mostashari, MD, steps down. Jacob Reider, MD, director of ONC's Office of the Chief Medical Officer, will assume the position of acting national coordinator, starting Oct. 4.
