CDC report finds slight decrease in rate of obesity among some children
Modern Healthcare (complimentary online subscription): A new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has found the first evidence of a decline in the rate of childhood obesity. Obesity rates in 19 states fell slightly from 2008 to 2011 for low-income children between the ages of 2 and 4 years old.
