New York regulators recommend charging infrastructure plan expected to deliver $2.6B in net benefits
Utility Dive: New York's EV targets are part of its broader decarbonization goals passed by the state's Assembly in June 2019, which would bring the state to 100% carbon-free energy by 2040.
DPS' recommendations mark the latest step in New York's series of moves on electric vehicle rollouts, and follow recently signed legislation in New Jersey that aims to get 2 million EVs on the road by 2035 and invests $300 million over 10 years in customer rebates.
