ExxonMobil enters cloud technology partnership to raise production
Oil & Gas Journal: ExxonMobil Corp. said a partnership with Microsoft to use cloud technology for the supermajor’s Permian basin operations is expected to increase net cash flow over the next decade through improved analysis and enhanced operational efficiencies.
The application of Microsoft technologies by ExxonMobil’s XTO Energy Inc. subsidiary is anticipated to support Permian production growth by as much as 50,000 boe/d by 2025, ExxonMobil said.
