Associations Urge Congress to Oppose $1.7BN DOE Budget Cut

Renewable Energy World: A letter signed today by five renewable energy associations urges Congress to oppose the $1.7 billion cut to the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) FY18 budget proposed by the Trump Administration.

The letter, which is addressed to the chairmen and ranking members of the Senate and House appropriations committees, is signed by American Council On Renewable Energy, American Wind Energy Association, Geothermal Energy Association, National Hydropower Association, and Solar Energy Industries Association.
