Obama Administration Moves to Encourage 1.3 GW of Energy Storage Procurement
Renewable Energy World: The Obama Administration last week announced a series of actions and activities that it says are designed to encourage 1.3 GW of energy storage procurement or deployment over the next five years.
The actions include a commitment from the federal government to increase its storage and microgrid capacity through programs that will make federal and military bases more resilient and provide funding for microgrids in rural communities.
