Clean Technica: While a few states have offered buyers of electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids thousands of dollars in tax rebates, Connecticut offered that cash to dealerships instead. That plan apparently hasn’t turned out so well, as Connecticut ranks far back in electric vehicle adoption. To fix that, the state will begin offering buyers up to $3,000 off the price of an electric car, plug-in hybrid, or fuel cell vehicle…but only for a small number of buyers.
