Clean Technica: I am ashamed to say that my home state of Connecticut currently ranks alongside states like New Jersey and Texas in banning the sale of the Tesla Model S. But that may soon change thanks to the efforts of a Republican Senator, who had to go New York to buy a Model S of his own.
As Green Car Reports notes, Tesla currently operates a service center and several Supercharger stations (including one just a couple of miles from mi casa), but it doesn’t have any actual stores. That means the 500-ish Tesla owners had to go to either New York or Massachusetts (which just affirmed Tesla’s right to sell cars directly) to purchase a Model S, which means a lot of lost tax revenue for the tax-loving Nutmeg state.
