Sprint recognized by DOE for Energy Reduction
The Wall Street Journal (online registration required): OVERLAND PARK, Kan., May 27, 2014 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Sprint [NYSE: S] was recently recognized by the Department of Energy (DOE) for its achievements in the Better Buildings Challenge. DOE Better Buildings Challenge partners are demonstrating progress toward achieving an aggregate 20 percent energy savings in 10 years, with annual energy savings of 2.5 percent or $300 million. Sprint joined the Better Buildings Challenge last year to signal commitment to improve its business operations with energy efficiency and the environment in mind.
