The US added 723 megawatts of solar power during the first 3 months of 2013

Treehugger: During the first quarter of 2013, the U.S. has added 723 megawatts (MW) of new solar capacity to its power grid, a 33% growth rate year-on-year. This accounted for over 48% of all new electric capacity installed during that period. According to the SEIA: "Overall, these installations represent the best first quarter of any given year for the industry.
