Obama administration nearing action on tax 'inversions'

USA Today: WASHINGTON -- Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew urged Congress on Monday to close tax loopholes that allow U.S. companies to avoid U.S. taxes by merging with foreign companies and shifting their headquarters overseas.

That tax-saving strategy is known as an inversion, and Lew said Congress should end it.
