Thousands of feds put on lengthy administrative leave

Federal Times: Personnel matters are the top reason for employees to be placed on administrative leave for extended periods of time, according to a new Government Accountability Office report. Agencies put extended absences down to personnel matters—often the period in which an employee awaits the resolution of charges of wrongdoing—132 times out of 312 instances the GAO considered.
