Survey: Young feds frustrated with career opportunities

Federal Times: Younger federal employees don’t believe their agencies reward creativity and innovation, according to an Office of Personnel Management Report released Oct. 8.

The report paints a picture of so-called “millennials” — born 1981 or after — as being relatively satisfied with their jobs but frustrated by issues such as a lack of opportunities for career advancement. Only 34 percent of millennials within government believe those opportunities are sufficient.
