The New York Times: WILMINGTON, Del. — Hoping to generate interest in rejuvenating urban areas, Delaware’s governor wants to offer modest development grants for proposed projects in 15 cities around the state.
In an announcement this month, Gov. Jack Markell said the state would cover up to 20 percent of the construction costs for builders, investors, nonprofits or homeowners who develop properties in designated downtown districts in those cities.
